What is concrete staining?
Concrete staining refers to the process of grinding down concrete and adding a colored water or acid-based stain to the surface. This tends to create a more natural look in comparison to epoxy floor coatings, which simply cover the concrete. The floor will still be polished and shiny, but the colors will simply be more earth-toned. Concrete staining involves a bit more maintenance as the surface is still porous, and it is recommended you use wax or another sealant to keep the surface looking nice and new.

What are epoxy floor coatings?
