Grid System and Tile Installation
If you decide to update your ceiling, you can choose between a direct-applied ceiling, and a suspended ceiling (or drop ceiling). A drop ceiling is installed using a grid system, which hangs tiles from the original structure. This often creates a stunning grid effect and highly designed space, with the tradeoff being a lower ceiling.
